Looks like Agnico going to make a move to buy Prism They desperately want that 7.5% royalty on that large Detour/Sunday Lake property it covers. At the end of Feb. Agnico bought ( stole) over 11% of the outstanding shares of Prism in a surprise move from Trevali Mining who is currently under Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) or pre-bankruptcy. Why would they do this ? The only answer is that they are planning to buy the rest of Prism plain and simple so they can finally retire that huge royalty.
I expect .50 cents per share is not out of line here.
