Celestial patent
Oh my!!.this Not Guud!!..I'm no techie, but seems Celestial has now patented their own version of photonic interposer..So looks like they won't have any need for Poets OI,as they will certainly be using their own.IMO &.lmso

But since there is no link to Poet it can be removed as Off Topic.

Celestial certainly must patent its hardware solution. Inside their hardware solution are probably KEY components patented by other manufacturers as well that are used in Celestial's product. So aren't the posts here about pushing Poet to the curb very extreme and questionable? gilver

The only competition is here for the poster speakers' corner! When I post there are posters that mock and try to silence me quickly. They blame their veiled attacks on a spellchecker, It doesn't matter what I post. It's automatic here and it's wrong. Seemingly, to exaggerate fear and doubt to trade is wrong. gilver

Could you highlight or copy paste, where my post or Arks post, for that matter, make any mention or reference to you?If not, then perhaps you need to Zip it, for a change..

Your're right. You are no techy. The Celestial patent is for electrical and photonic integration but not wafer-level integration, thus the need for Poet's interposer.

thanks for the clarification..as I said, I'm no tech expert, so the only thing that would make me a believer, is when I see the promised PO's, clearly stated in dollars and cents. When that happens,I may even buy back a few more shears..

I believe Celestial's patent is about using light to transmit data from one point to another inside a silicon chip. Poet's interposer is used to transmit light data between chips. Zacks mentioned that Celestial will need 4 Poet light engines per Celestial accelerator. $200 x 4 = $800.

either way they still have to use POET'S Light Engines.I own Lite-q which provides components for Poet. See ZACKS Analyst (Lisa Thompson) how positive she is on POET in the future.

Correction: Celestial's interconnect product (or interposer) transmits light data from chip-to-chip too but I think Poet's light module (with interposer) is used to transmit light between Celestial interconnect products. See image.....
