No Cash from Sales
Poet will get No Cash from Sales anytime soon. If the socalled legacy products ever sell, it will be JV sales.
Poet sales that will generate cash to Poet are not even on the horizon. Nobody knows when that will start. In the meantime Poet will be on life support.
The only way out is if Poet generates sales at the JV as a proof of concept. Somehow investors see the potential and speculation starts. But at least Poet has to stop talking non sense. Stop using weasel words. Just speak the truth, nothing but the truth and the whole truth only. Did i say NO MORE weaselwords?
No more production ready, when you have no factory for production. Yeah, Poet got us good with that one.

Do you know at what profit? No point if it is at cost or worse below. So, this maybe true, but can backfire if they have to deliver these at or below cost. Knowing Poet, expect the worst case scenario.

OK, can still lead to a net loss. I believe a profit when i see it.

I don't know what Sanan would prefer but Poet would like to sell the OIs to SPX at a price as high as possible due to significant tax loss carryforwards. SPX has very little tax shields built up.

SPX has a license to sell 100g/200g worldwide and 400g in China. If SPX is also ramping production for 800g then those sales would be Poet revenues. Oct 05/23 - SPX expects to ramp production of POET’s Optical InterposerTM -based optical engines for 100G CWDM4, POET ONE™ (a 100G single chip TxRx engine), 100G LR4, 200G FR4, 400G FR4 and 800G 2xFR4 solutions.

lscfa -Good work finding this information.I found Lisa Thompson of Zack's analysis of POET more informative t han management ever put out in new releases. Revenue will be coming we just have to be patient. Are Lisa revenue numbers in line . That must be very hard because who really knows what the future orders will really be. Good POET got the $5M in financing.
