I sent an E-mail to the Compny a couple of weeks back,enquiring wether a decision has been made in respect to the upcoming AGM and if it would be delivered Virtually or Onsite and nothing but Crickets from anybody.
More reason as to why a SH Initiated special meeting is urgently required before the NExt AGM..IMO

I cannot see how they have enough cash to make it to the AGM. It looks as if Poet is set to get taken private after bancruptcy, soon. Perhaps the only way is if they stop paying bills, but that only goes that far.

He is correct in his rough calulation..Any Profitable Corporation would be able to apply the losses against profits,but a  buyer would never pay the equivalent of their tax rate savings..the tax loss savings does indeed have value,but may or may not add a premium to the sale,or at least certainly nowhere near the figure of 53 Mill as stated by FJ..Another way to look at it,is that the 215

Look at it this way...anybody or entity that would be willing to pay 53 Million premium for POEt's tax loss benefit to Save 53 Million in taxes, would have to be maybe a little bit Stupid.dont you thinks? Certainly,any company carrying yearly profits would give it consideration, if they see other valuable potential in making a bid for POET..IMO

Cumulative net losses do not equal tax loss carryforwards. Note 22 says deferred tax asserts = $150M US

That's cuz the $250 Mill US figure,as stated by FJ,for accumulated losses is nowhere near that. As per latest financials,the correct deficit figure as at Dec 31st 2023,is $214 Mill CD,which is close to your 150M US..

Actually most likely, Poet should do a reverse takeover of TikTok. Poet gets money and management and TikTok gets to stay in the US. Clearly why did the grapevine not come up with this? Win/Win
