Conspiracy Theory 2.0

This is a continuation of my previous post, because it gets more intriguing. So a few years ago, when Eldorado took over the property next door from Integra, the first thing they did was pick up 13% of the company. Then they rested. After awhile, they offered shareholders DOUBLE the market price for the balance of the company. (This is where the Lamaque gold mine now operates.)

As we have seen recently, Eldorado just picked up 20% of QMX at a discount price in December. If the historic pattern holds and the market cooperates, they might be prepared to offer shareholders double the market price for the balance of QMX. After the first investment by Eldorado, QMX quickly jumped up to 10 cents per share with enthusiasm as investors began to realize the vast potential of the property. Then, somebody shorted the stock down to 8 cents (in a crazy move), and ended up losing money again when the stock went back up even higher. Why would anyone do this, UNLESS they were deliberately trying to hold the price low in preparation for a takeover offer? This is pure speculation, of course.

I think its very early stage, they have to let the stock run. Que exploration is hot, and if the Gold price keeps rising as many expect, its a perfect storm. Mid cap Golds have barely moved yet so we have a long way to go IMO............
