Why the constant SP drop?

Is there something fundamentally not right with QUIS?
Comment by TrevDesch on May 18, 2021 3:13pm
I assume it's related to confusion about warrant conversion.  Took me a few hours to understand it myself.  Today I sold more shares and boing more warrants.  Losing so far....

Could be selling shares to free up money to buy  the converted warrants.

It had lost 23 cents on today's trade. WTH! Again, I thought the warrant not all that bad. Jesus

I think, the way the SP is behaving has to do with the conversion of warrants pegged at $1.10 a share when converted. Therefore, the reason why the sell off of QUIS shares to get the warrants and cash out the difference. Demand for warrants will increase making them more expensive to buy until it's not worth selling QUIS shares to buy warrants. If it's something else feel free to comment ...more

That doesn't make sense because if you pay 27 cents for the warrant then you have to pay an additional 1.10 to convert the warrant to a share.

Here are the three essential points of the warrant news release: 1) Each whole Warrant entitles the holder to purchase one Common Share at a price of $1.10. 2) Proceeds to the Company will total approximately $12.4 million from the conversion. 3) Any warrants that have not been exercised by 4:30 p.m. (vancouver time) on june 16, 2021 will automatically be cancelled. Maybe the the SP has ...more

Warrants should be worth about $1.10 below share price.  At this point, with the conversion triggered, is the SP drops below $1.10 the warrants are worthless.   If you think the SP will go up by $0.10 in the next month or so, you should be buying yo warrants like crazy! like me... I sold all my shares today and bought warrants. wish me luck...

You think one should be buying warrants like crazy? Have you forgotten the laws of supply and demand driving up the the price. The more the demand is strong for warrants the more it drives their cost up. $1.10 plus whatever it costs you to buy a warrant.

Here is my plan: I have until June 16 to convert.  I ha e the money to convert.  If SP goes up $0.25 my warrant value should double. I think a lot of people sold out of fear/confusion today.  time will tell...

Fully agree with the fear/confusion remark. The SP has sold off as though this was negative news when in fact, companies accelerate the expiry date of warrants when they are doing well, not poorly. One look at a 1 year chart will tell you how well we have done which allowed QUIS to meet the terms outlined below. The company can now get these warrants off the books and continue their upward rise ...more

You've heard the warrant explanation, but I'm also wondering if it could be a bit of a seasonal thing as well. Last year around this time QUIS pulled back significantly before resuming its upward trend. I shaved half my position at $1.90, then repurchased it at $1.60 a few days ago, thinking I was pretty smart. Obviously I should've just waited a few days. As is so often the case, my ...more
