As stated in the 2020-Q3 financial statements, Robex’s drilling strategy is to increase the level of mineral resources and reserves. Consequently, a major drilling program was planned for the year 2020. The health measures imposed by the pandemic as well as an intense rainy season meant that Robex was unable to complete this program within the planned timeframe. In the worst case scenario, this work should be completed on March 31, and a new 43-101 technical report should be published thereafter.
I remind you that the last resource calculation was produced according to the drilling results obtained on July 31, 2020. To date, we have an information gap of 8 months, which represents several tens of thousands of sample results. additional for which the next 43-101 may consider. All of these samples were taken near the main pit, to the south, to the west, in 3 areas to the north and possibly to the east.
Regarding this information time gap, many of you have expressed your frustration to me. I am often reminded that during the last annual meeting, Mr. Cohen took care to tell us that the next drilling results would be published regularly. Is this 8 month gap reasonable? I do not know. Is the publication of drilling results without interpretation, without a new resource calculation and without a new 43-101 relevant information? I do not believe. This last point is my only valid explanation for this information mismatch. The 2020 drilling campaign is gigantic and according to what has been planned, includes more than 150,000 samples to be extracted, analyzed in the laboratory, integrated into the database and interpreted by our qualified geologists. The conclusion of this drilling campaign could justify an increase in Nampala's production capacity. Therefore, I believe it is important to wait patiently because what will follow may end with the biggest development milestone in recent Robex history.
In the press release issued on January 14, 2021, Benjamin Cohen's memo mentioned that an ambitious exploration program was planned for the other Robex properties, without further details. But what about this program? Does this program concern Mininko, Kamasso, Sanoula or Diangount permits? How many meters will be drilled in 2021? I sincerely hope that we will have details on this soon.
In the same press release, Benjamin Cohen and Mr. Cohen (Sr.) aroused our curiosity about Robex's growth strategy. One by commenting on external growth operations and the other by building a solid group with several mines. I suspect that the next annual meeting will be an opportunity to discuss it, but out of respect for the rules, this subject will have to be covered beforehand by the publication of an official press release. Otherwise, little information can be provided to us at the annual meeting.
In summary, continue to be patient because the worst is over and the best is yet to come. As for the best, I suggest you reread my publication of March 16.
