Read the writing on the wall - or on the chart
- The company's situation, and its lack of transparency, are not attracting a rush of new buyers.
- Meanwhile, long-term shareholders are gradually dropping out as they realize they are not likely to get their money back.
- Is anything likely to reverse the 3-year declining trend? How about more debt (which is inevitable) or more dilution (almost equally inevitable)?
- The risk of a company meltdown due to physical, political and/or financial events is increasing every day.
- If anyone is gambling that a great exploration discovery could win their money back, they should switch out of this high-priced, high-risk and very shaky producer, and instead pick a handful of low-cost explorers with unlimited upside.
But some people refuse to believe in red flags. Anybody who chooses to hold on and wait should not pretend their choice is based on rational analysis.
