Wait for results? That's crazy. The people on site are not going to keep quiet. As oil shows (or not) they'll be talking and news will leak out. If it is good then you'll see the volumes and price grow, and vice versa. By the time there is a news release 90% of the information is in the market.

I think Recon will be very forthright and transparent and repidly so.  They have been exceedingly so with recent posts to their website and twitter useage.  Insiders own 18% +/- and will benefit from extremely positive news as it occurs.

The real, and justified, price movements will likely only occur after disclosure by the company. Simply because oily cuttings come across the shakers means almost nothing to the quantification and qualification of the resource. No diligent investor should invest because some derrick hand tells them through the grapevine that black cuttings came to surface and looked oily. I doubt very much that
