Apologies . Should have read JUNE 5 - the Namibian court ruling on costs incurred by recon when  they won the nuissance law suit and sued for their costs.

  In the US and Canada, the losing party in a lawsuit has to pay the successful party's court costs but not attorney or lawyer fees. As for contingency arrangement such as Class Action, all legal fees will be borne by the lawyers. Namibia is like UK, the losing party is liable to pay the lawyer's fees and costs of the other party. This rule discourages frivolous lawsuits.
