There's sad news coming from $ROCK/$ROCK.V management as one of their directors, Richard Kursmirski, passed away last Friday. It’s not often as it should be that we take the time to think of public companies as groups of real people with lives and families, but it’s important to remember that all companies are made up of individuals that go about life just like all of us. After all, the markets and their movement are just an abstract reflection of human emotions.
Shares of $ROCK are taking a small dip today on this news, down 5%. However, I am confident in $ROCK.V’s management to carry on operations and progress their copper projects in Saskatchewan. $ROCK recently completed geophysical surveying of the Knife Lake Project which Kursmirki no doubt had a key role in as an experienced exploration geologist.
I think we can expect some positive results from $ROCK’s testing. However, I’m sure the company will be taking some time before making any big news/announcements.
Shares of $ROCK.V are currently trading at $.09 and the company is valued at $6.57 million.
