10,000,000 ozs times $2400 USD/oz = $24 billion USD metal value ($32 billion CAD). If SGD gets a buy out of $10 CAD/share that is a puny $1.69 billion CAD.  Whateva! It is not a problem building a big multigenerational mine from scratch in the Yukon/Alaska.  It has been done before.

The only way to establish how many ounces represent proven and probable reserves is via a Feasibity Study. I don't think SGD will ever conduct a FS at Valley or any other site. I listen to Rick Rule but I don't take him too seriously.  He is far too negative and jaded for my tastes.  Yeah Yeah the world is going to hell.  What else is new ...more

Excellent post. There is tremendous value with Snowline so either the company will be bought out entirely or the Valley deposit will be sold. The value is there so a deal will get done eventually at a much higher valuation given the huge in the ground metal value at a very good grade. The issues with the Victoria landslide will get resolved and it will be business as usual in the Yukon. ...more

I think that the company will sell deposits/parts of their portfolio off rather than the entire company. Hostile bids will be defended robustly....imo Bb

Yes, but the Gov't is already looking at increasing "Restrictions' and you know that those will be costly! This is going to be a Costly buyout whichever way they go!
