With very cold weather we will continue to drill on the pond in the high grade

The very best way to determine dip angle of chute is directly over top ie. from barge. My guess is that the dip angle is relatively low on the splays/systems otherwise we would have encountered even more high grade/long intervals from the splay area in prior drilling. Examination of cores from barge drilling should give Tim a very good handle on dip angle even without assay results. Best of luck ...more

Thanks surething. I posted many times on the importance of the barge drilling however did not really understand exactly how. I do know that Tim sure looked happy in the twitter pic of him holding that barge drill core with red circles (i.e. with visible gold). 2022 will be a fantastic year for SIC and NFG. Nice to see NFG up big today. These are my only junior gold plays and all that I need.  ...more

If we drill for 2 months on the pond it will help us a lot to go deeper more quickly.

Surething ...the angle is 31 degrees for the main Keats zone where most of the gold has been found on the Appleton Fault and at Lotto it was 45 degrees. Are you thinking it will be less than 31 Surething? Blue Chipper once they got the angle it will be a lot easier to drill down plunge but one thing also they will have ascertain is that at Keats their seems to be zones   little ...more

Hi Ike, I could very well be wrong, but I feel that our down dip could be even more gradual than 31 degrees......this would seem to be confirmed by earlier perimeter drilling toward the eastern trend. Though results have been exceedingly good, I feel that drilling from the West side overshot and from the east side undershot for the most part the main chute. Hole mh-20-115 tells me that if we aren& ...more

Judging from what I could see, it looks like the better part of a meter with 350-400 gpt material.. https://ucfa1a9fa8c655bbfd6b3338b215.previews.dropboxusercontent.com/p/pdf_img/ABYJG2G4lLVhQlbm4D4c9xLpTsELlTQHBLVAjlAnFWZHe2_H_RGh516JDEPFyBKaqDrMJlER6vwXjm2EGnnU0ziqSokiW_uPcxu6cFPgbMUCn0YI-afk4AC40tZHAfaTSAF4kBrSpaAgC0VX4Rb-JDGPEELzZK1rrAhKsKUJLFjZF1Q41YDmV0MTAJEBzJKfF5A ...more

You still failed to give angle so I guess I will have to give you the third degree. Let me pick 25 degrees. Even that would be huge as it would keep things shallower and cheaper to mine. At Keats they got to over 300m and found a new zone. Too many things could  happen....but dare me to dream. The way things are going they will be years later to show anything concrete. IKE

Ike, Exact hard to say......bet Tim can tell us ;) S

25 degrees is a fair guess.  There is a 3D model on Youtube.  If you study it carefully it looks like 25 degrees is in the ball park.

Thanks geezer,.   Ok Ike, guess 25 degrees stands. Next question- how deep is second splay?  Hint.......fair bit deeper and much larger dip? Time will tell......one thing for sure is the eastern side of east trend is much more highly mineralized than West........Of course that's only dictated by the shallow drilling to date. Looking for 2022 to open up this deposit with many ...more

I have no idea if chutes go this shallow but the argument has lingered of how deep  things will go at the keats. I know bedrock was hit by Noranda a long time ago at  800m but Megacopper says things could go below 1500 m. No one knows except Keats found their second zone below 300 m. If 25 degrees were to hold they were be a lot more gold before hitting the end. Lotto is at 45 so a ...more

Bc, I too hold a large position in Sic, and a pretty good whack of Nfg and Lab. I also hold some K9. Much of my resource investing is akin to that of a river boat gambler, much to my wife's chagrin many times. I admire your reasoned and sane approach to investing. Please keep posting your thoughts........they are not always followed by myself, but they do help. Merry Christmas all S
