U.S. natural gas prices surged to the highest level in more than 13 years Monday as Russia’s war on Ukraine causes a global energy crunch and as forecasts called for cooler spring temperatures. Futures jumped 10% to trade as high as $8.05 per million British thermal units, the highest since September 2008.

The real question is whether there is infrastructure in place or what is the cost to get it in place for natural gas production.  From what I know one of the larger natural gas production zones in Indonesia is Sumatra region. This would make me believe that there is infastructure around that we could tap into if there is none connected to the Selat block currently. https://www.indonesia ...more

This field had producing wells by inself. Both oil and gas. Sorrounded by fields that had upto 100K bpd production. You can't produce without infrastructure. Previous release noted the wells were being serviced to be put back to production, we could be making money as we speak. It's plug and play! Waiting for updates.

Thanks. Wasn't aware the Selat had natural gas production capabilities already. Knew many others in the areas do and the potential is incredible. But haven't seen anything that states Selat has previously produced Natural gas.  will be great given the quick reset and the prices for both natural gas and oil. Mind sharing where you found what was previously produced from the wells ...more

If and when 114Bcf gas reserves are confirmed, at current gas wellhead prices, and even before increased share of reserves.. it works to north of C$250M value to SNV , again at 25%share (soon to increase) and using gas reserves only, never mind billions of oil barrels (to be confirmed, but I hear 37B+ barrels oil). Germany is about to fire wooden and coal boilers.. that is how precious gas has ...more

Ya I had always based our initial potential of Sugih (previous operators) short term plans on page 24. Once we get going I think we will all be quite happy when we run to dollars land before end of the year with production and reserves  https://cdn.indonesia-investments.com/bedrijfsprofiel/423/sugih-energy-annual-report-2013-laporan-tahunan-sugi-company-profile-indonesia-investments.pdf

That value of about C$ 1.2B in 2013 is covered by gas value only at today's prices. Add oil, add increase in Interest above 25% and SNV is worth well over .5B. We are looking at North of $ 4 a share. So to expect $1 by Dec is reasonable. To expect a $2+ take over is also reasonable.

Yah Baby and look at the Subject . We have huge reserves . Read on . Natural gas is in the midst of the most dramatic boom that traders have seen in more than a decade, with prices recently rising as high as $8 per million British Thermal Units, more than twice as high as they were a year ago

The curve is going up and only going to go higher as winter gets closer . Lets get those massive Nat Gas reserves flowing . Read on .
