My recommendation is that you reach out directly to the company with any concerns. They have been very receptive to small investors and I believe that they will want to be a good neighbor and will respect the residents and the historic and natural resources in the area.

Mogollon looks good on paper but the more i dig in, the worse it looks...  permitting is going to be the big issue and probably the reason no ones attempted to do anything with it in decades despite known high grades?  I guess we'll see, but hope this doesnt turn into another Pebble/ Northern Dynasty situation.... seems like NGO's and community are against it already, which isnt ...more

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully they can strike a balance with the environmental impact of a mine that will satisfy everyone. Definitely don't want them to ruin any waterways. I have no idea how destructive the underground mine could be, so maybe there's a way to conduct the operation with little damage if the veins are rich enough to justify the extra expense. We'll have to monitor ...more

The project has headwinds for sure, but it is shaping up to be an important deposit. Drilling is confirming what has been suspected, that important grades remain in a mine closed by executive decree in WW2. SW New Mexico is poor, with employment opportunities diasappearing along with services, and mining is a viable answer. If Summa plays this right and builds community support we may see a mine ...more

Underground mining at the scale of what Summa may seek permits for would have a minimal surface impact, about what a modern high school has, contrary to what most people understand. And it would give an important boost to the rural economy of southwest New Mexico where over the years because of a lack of jobs and a tax base, services have largely disappeared, or moved hours away to Las Cruces. Thank You. I've learned to take much of what the "environmentalists" say with a grain of salt. Regulations here would certainly prohibit any significant damage to cultural and natural resources, and I would be surprised if a modern mining company would want to risk their reputation with the locals anyway. The deposit so far certainly appears to justify a mine. I'm holding my ...more

I believe Summa's better bet is the Nevada property, if exploration pans out. Mogolln at this stage is the "sexy" target, but its best-case scenario has a mine a decade or more away. Nevada is mining country, project is closer to infrastructure- permitting more straight-forward. Longer-term stock price and stock value should factor this in.

That I'd agree with; New Mexico is going to be challenging to get anything done, aside from some small scale drilling given how much opposition is against this project locally.  They have some serious headwinds, and "local jobs" aren't going to sway federal regulators, who are ANTI everything.... let alone trying to build a mine near the oldest ecological preserve/wilderness ...more
