VOLCANICS -

Ash, Muds, Basalts, Tuffs, Micas, Felsics, Gabbros
Silicic acid, chloric acid, sulphic acid, flurorite acid.

Does one single out " just aqua blue "core geology ?
Or... are other geologies just as important contributing to mineral percentages ?

Slam did zero in on the volcanic tuffs in drillhole GW 24 02
40 meter intercept  near surface
Tuffs contributed 3.28 % Cu Eq.

While GW 24 01 had no upper strata tuffs.
Odd, being that 01 + 02 were drilled in close proximity.

Caribou Mine 43 101 report
Mentions the Volcanics, Muds, Carbonates.... along with chloride and Sulphides.

Petrographic studies on Zinc,
will present zinc with an array of colors... green, black, brown, red, yellow, white, silver.

Zinc can hide in,
Volcanic tuffs, pyrrhotite, Carbonates and in clear tranluscent crystal form or in various
crystal colors in the form of, Smithsonite.

In it's tranluscent crystal form smithonite resembles, calcite in appearence.

Here's an article on drillhole GW 24 03 FARQ zone 900m south of, Granges.
Article also sports an image most likely from, FARQ Zone.

Drillhole GW 24 03 began assays @ 72m
What geology comprised from 0m to 72m ?

https://www.stockwatch.com/News/Image/SXL.2024.07.03.png
https://ceo.ca/@thenewswire/slam-drills-another-60-meter-copper-nickel-core-interval

6m - 24m
18 meter pegmatite gabbro - gabbro contains volcanic basalts black flecks

24m - 62.90m
Course grain gabbro ( Caribou had good results in course gabbro )

62.9m - 72.9m
Maffic Volcanic ( volcanic ash, muds, tuffs = carbonates )  GW 24 02 assayed tuffs

Different perspective on what geologies could be quite important versus,
visual grading cores only seeking, blue color, chalco, pyrrhotite.

I'd say....
ashes, muds, carbonates, tuffs, crystal clear or crystal coloring is
just as important.

Looking for minerals in crystal or solution form when zinc can present itself as,
white or tranluscent is rather hard to do versus.... seeking pyrite, chalcos, pyrrhotite or blue
colors is near impossible to identify...  xrf hand helds need density of mineral to effectively
utilize the fluro light.  Xrf has difficulties with carbonates... even with lithium.

Xrf detectors are great for metallics,,
but when a mineral is in a transitional phase pre or post even solid solution
bonded to, chloride, sulphide, fluoride can make it challenging to detect the mineral
with no density of mass / metallic.

Lab assay... most often can't detect silica.
A smart geologist will know that silica is a very important acid pre silica.
= Silicic Acid. ( building block )

Oceans contain silicic acid and so do hydrothermal volcanic fluids.

Tuffs, Ashes, Muds, Carbonates
could be an easy deposit builder versus seeking deeper zoned aqua blue sulphides.

Would be interesting to see if GW 24 02 could be repeated.
40m of Tuffs = 3.28% Cu Eq

Another interesting feature of Brunswick are the
Bogs.

Could the Bogs be indicators of Ash muds, Tuffs, soft spots that harbor
volcanics especially adjacent to... low lying volcanic vents ?

Cheers....
