Uranium prices are on the rise and market sentiment is improving, with nuclear energy playing a crucial role in the global energy mix as nations strive to decarbonize their economies. SYH.v.
Skyharbour holds an extensive portfolio of uranium exploration projects in Canada's Athabasca Basin and is well-positioned to benefit from improving uranium market fundamentals with twenty-nine projects, ten of which are drill-ready, covering over 587,000 hectares of mineral claims.
Recently, North Shore Uranium's maiden drill program at the Falcon Property in northern Saskatchewan was completed. A partnership venture, Spanning an impressive 55,699 hectares within the renowned Athabasca Basin's eastern margin, Falcon Property holds immense promise for uranium exploration and development. The drill program, strategically targeting three key areas along robust electromagnetic conductor systems, has yielded compelling findings.
Highlights included
Conductor Modeling: Utilizing advanced Maxwell EMIT software, three-dimensional plate models of the electromagnetic conductor systems were constructed. The targeted conductors at P03 and P08 were intersected at depths consistent with the models, underscoring the accuracy of the exploration methodologies employed.
Favorable Structures: The drilling program revealed the presence of favorable structures associated with uranium mineralization. At P03, a brittle graphitic fault zone with strong silica alteration was encountered, while at P08, a similar fault zone with bleached clay and hematite staining was identified. These structural features enhance the prospectivity of the Falcon Property for hosting significant uranium deposits.
Elevated Radioactivity: North Shore Uranium obtained elevated total count gamma probe readings at targets P03 and P08, with a maximum value of 2695 counts per second (“cps”) at P03. These readings signify the presence of radioactive minerals, a promising indicator of uranium mineralization.
Projections indicate an 11.7% increase in uranium production in 2024, driven primarily by growth in key producing regions such as Kazakhstan and Canada. Skyharbour's strategic partnerships and ongoing exploration activities position the company to capitalize on the growing demand for uranium, ensuring long-term value creation for stakeholders.
