Today's trading or lack of

Does anyone know why this thing isn't trading yet?

Traded started 2:40pm, 5000@ .68. Now 17500@.69. Shows up 4 cents, actually it's 5c. BNCH closed at .25 yesterday, up a penny on 4.27 Million shares. At .25 BNCH x 2.5584 = .6396 [new]TAU, the basis should be 64 cents. The previous price of 65 cents for TAU is wrong; it's actually .61, a few traded on the last day. There's more than the normal amount of confusion that occurs when a ...more

Roberto I calculate it as up by .04.  The consolidation number is 2.61.
Comment by givemeabreak1 on Aug 25, 2023 5:39pm
You are using the exchange ratio not the consolidation number.
Comment by roberto146 on Aug 25, 2023 6:36pm
"The consolidation number is 2.61" The consolidation is shown as 2.6:1 in the news release, (not 2.61). As a side note, the customary way to describe it would be 1:2.6, not 2.6:1. The exchange ratio was just used to create a hypothetical new-TAU price. A couple of weeks ago on the BNCH board I speculated the new-TAU price at .60 - .65 based on what old-TAU was selling for at the time ...more

Roberto You know what I meant!   It is merely a coincidence that the exchange ratio was so close to the consolidation ratio.  The exchange ratio has nothing to do with speculation as to the new price.  It is a mere coincidance that it was!  They could have done a 5 for 1 or 10 for 1 consolidation and using the exchange ratio would have been out to lunch!

"The exchange ratio has nothing to do with speculation as to the new price."  Actually the exchange ratio has everything to do with speculation as to the new price. For hypothetical estimation, the new price is a function of the price of BNCH times the exchange ratio,  and is dependent on the price of BNCH which needs to hold steady. Now this is just a calculation, and ...more

Roberto That poster who said they bought at .54 was me!  You still are confused!  Pretend the consolidation was 5 to 1 and what price would we theoretically be at lol!  You were on the right track as far as the trade differntial using the exchange ratio but that has nothing to do with the current or expected trading price.  You arrived at that by accident because the exchange ...more

As I said, if you are still confused pretend the consolidation ratio was 5 to 1 and then tell me approximately what the share price would be?
Comment by givemeabreak1 on Aug 25, 2023 10:49pm
As I final thought!  I give up!  I tried to explain it to you but you are too stubborn to understand!  That is a good thing the more people playing these things in a state of confusion the better I do lol!

Comment by roberto146on Aug 10, 2023 10:40am RE:Thesis Receives Over 99% Securityholder Approval Looks like some people might be taking advantage of the arbitrage now that the deal is confirmed - huge volume today on TAU. About a 5 cent spread, less trade commissions. BNCH .235 x 2.5584 = equiv TAU .60. Provided of course if BNCH holds .235 at the close of the deal.   Comment by ...more

You still seem to be confused between the conversion ratio and the consolidation price?  I have done all that I can do to explain it to you it is now up to you to let it sink in!
Comment by givemeabreak1 on Aug 26, 2023 12:17am
If you are deciding of buying one over another the thing that matter is the converstion ratio.   Whether they do a consolidation or not has nothing to do with the convertion ratio as the consolidation is done after any conversion!  Do you understand?
Comment by givemeabreak1 on Aug 26, 2023 12:20am
It is sort of like following basic math!  It is about the order of operations!  If you do not do the order correctly you come out with different answers.  The conversion is completed then the consolidation do you follow?  It is not that complicated one needs only open their minds to simple math functions.

"You still seem to be confused between the conversion ratio and the consolidation price?" I really don't understand what you're on about. I have only ever referred to the conversion ratio to hypothecate/speculate a price when new-TAU would open trading. My idea was that pre-closing TAU price was much discounted. You considered my idea, decided it was reasonable to speculate ...more
