No comments on 90% shorting on the last 300k+ traded here in the US? Ignoring fact and latching on to bullboard fare-ee tales is a curious strategy?? To each his/her own I $pose GLTA

Shorting keeps the price down . Shorters accumulate larger positions while profiting a few pennies at the same time . Short squeeze comes and they go long and profit on the way up . Those are my thoughts . What am I missing here ? It seems like a somewhat obvious strategy to me although I have never and will never short Theralase . You have to ask , with the potentially earth shattering news

You don't Camp think when the volume spike to 1M+ a part of it is shorting? Me I think so.

Would add that historically-granted or subsequenrly accumulated (often for pennies) warrants mean that from their perspective they are shorting risk-free. In fact it might be more accurate to say that rahter than shorting they are cynically distorting the market to their own benefit as strictly speaking (to the extent that they are not selling shares that they don`t actually have in one form or

agree. blowjobjoe's bosses naked short not for profit, in fact they got lots of free waranties during last stink PP, so their naked short  no matter how low, is "risk free " indeed....

Camp, my thoughts exactly.  The volume is so low every time the stock price goes down, it simply does not make sense paying the brokerage commisions, risking your money in the hope of gaining a few $$.   This may make sense for someone working in a brokerage firm who have all the tools and data in their possession in addition to discounted brokerage commisions.
