The KOMBAT CURSE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,WATER.........!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trigon Metals Inc. (TSX-V: TM; OTCQB: PNTZD) (“Trigon” or the “Company”) has executed a plan to address a temporary setback in underground pumping progress due to the failure of one of its two main dewatering pumps on the evening of June 14, 2024 at the Company's Kombat mine in Namibia.

The mine had been dewatered down to 331 metres from the shaft collar at the time of the pump failure and the water has since risen to 227 metres below surface and has remained at that level for the last 2 weeks.

FAILURES__A GOOD PLAN Would Have Been to Have SPARE PUMPS at the Mine Site__INSTEAD of WAITING a MONTH to Get the NEW PARTS eh !!!!!

Have to agree.  Why the HECK do they not have a backup pump on site?  De-watering is the key to getting this mine going, and they do not even have a little extra pumping capacity?  It is ridiculous.  They said they were pumping 1500 m3/hr per pump.  I saw a pump that can do 380 GPM for $7000.  1 GPM = .227 m3/hr, so this pump could do 380 x .227 = 86 m3/hr. ...more
