Tudor Gold Corp > If you do the math....

If you do the math....

If you add up the esitmated costs of 8.50/ton for underground mining, 2/3 of GS at 28.50 processing costs (CS-600 portion), 1/3 at 48.50 (non-CS-600 portion) plus 1.50 G&A it averages out to about $1308/oz. It's slightly above the 1250/oz that the big guys like Newmont and Barrick did last year but easily profitable in this market.....
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Feb 28, 2024 2:36pm
Now, when you throw in the high grade numbers they just discovered I suspect that easily pushes us down to a comparable cost/oz.....The PEA when it comes will show this....they just need to get all the other ducks in a row so that they can nail down pre-production capex costs. That's why finding the "font door" as Ken calls it needs to come first....if you don't do it properly ...more

When you calculate costs, you have to include amortization of capital. That's the initial capital as well as sustaining capital.
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Feb 28, 2024 4:01pm
That's irrelevant as EVERY mine has to do that....What matters is how much it costs to produce an ounce of gold...If other mines can start up and run at a cost of 1250/oz, why would this be any different?
Comment by Larry60 on Feb 28, 2024 4:10pm
AISC only includes sustaining CAPEX and not the pre-production CAPEX.  Same goes for exploration expenses ie only expenses incurred once production commences. Thats not to say CAPEX is not relevant.  It is.  And it will determine wether the NPV and IRR numbers are economic. PEAs by their very nature are optimistic and usually underestimate costs and overestimate return.Need a ...more

Hilarious. $1250 opex only makes sense if the capex allows for a reasonable return on capital. Not every $1250 opex will make a mine if the capex is sky high.
Comment by fordster on Feb 29, 2024 2:32pm
Wait...you're sowing seeds of doubt on our capex/opex with KSM/MTT in evening shadow?  First, we're not even there, but you keep lamenting on issues that aren't even on Tuds agenda yet. You continuing these absurd issues can only mean one thing: you're hear to continue to try to undermine Tudor Gold. ...It use to be our "strip ratio" but KK shut you down (as did many ...more

Hahahaha. What Fordster said.......LOL
Comment by Larry60 on Mar 01, 2024 10:12am
Yes, Fordster is hilarious!!!!!  Dont see that kind of hilarity every day! On a positve note, we are back over 90 cents!!!!  first time since we get hit with the ATM news. Would like to see a buck today!!!

Only two major gold miners do block caving. It's not a layup.  Foir a block cave to work, the deposit needs to be vertical so it can use gravity effectively to mine itself. Deposits that dip do not get mined by block cave. Much more expensive methods are needed. Just because it's an underground deposit does not mean it is a block cave.
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Feb 29, 2024 5:31pm
Why would our capex be any higher than any other mine???? I know it's going to be MUCH lower than KSMs becuase we don't have to spend 2 billion on a tunnel....
Comment by LonghandStrong on Feb 29, 2024 7:35pm
How do you know we dont have to build a tunnel?  If it's block cave, how else will they get the ore out of it?  Beam me up Kenny!
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Feb 29, 2024 7:40pm
You know what I mean. We dont have to build a 22 km tunnel on top of building a mine....Also, if you do your research, block caving has higher initial Capex but very low opex....the overall cost is very close to open pit costs, and much less harmful to the environment....which makes permitting much easier.

The MTT for $1 Billion (not 2) solves a lot of problems and is a highly efficient way to move ore and supplies. Not a bug but a feature.
Comment by TeckPro on Mar 04, 2024 4:45pm
A few quick questions. Don't you understand THAT: (1) We are in 2024 (2) There is presently NO MTT route (3) SEA has to wait for TUD to complete its PEA (4) Not 1 legitimate TUD investor gives a hoot about your inaccurate and meaningless mumbo jumbo?
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Mar 04, 2024 7:15pm
One more question....Why is it that you do nothing but pump SEA's tires, and yet the TUD board is the only board you've ever posted on?
Comment by cskhurasu on Mar 05, 2024 5:38pm
I'm a SEA shareholder of many years. I came over to the TUD board to see if I could make money on SEA's neighbour. I don't post on the SEA board because it's not an active site. I post on other stocks on X.
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Mar 06, 2024 1:47am
BS....you aren't trying to make money here....
Comment by Larry60 on Mar 06, 2024 10:09am
Did make money on TUD? What do you post under on X?
Comment by TeckPro on Mar 07, 2024 3:00pm
No need for any explanation. We all know that you are a mole who is here to exploit and post hypothetical and inaccurate information about TUD. Why don't you head over to the SEA board and ask "When are we going to to be allowed by TUD to build our MTT, otherwise our entire project is null and void?"
Comment by cskhurasu on Mar 07, 2024 3:14pm
It is exceedingly clear that most posters here are very dependent on the idea that TUD can block the building of KSM by preventing the construction of KSM's tunnels through TUD claims. It comes up again and again.  At some point, SEA is going to apply for the permits it does not already have to construct the tunnels. Then we will see who has what rights. No doubt TUD will oppose the ...more

Emminant domain??? That is the government using private property for public use...they can NOT transfer ownership from one party to another....
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Mar 07, 2024 3:41pm
I think it's exceedingly clear that there is one poster who thinks somehow SEA is going to allowed to void someone else's prior rights when those rights include a richer resource than what they have....not going to happen...SEA knows this which is why they stopped drilling and didn't include that in their permitted mine site...

If you follow KKs interviews, our first priority is the localization and preservation of these super cells we are locating. These cells appear to be superficial and will be low hanging fruit as we make a ramp/tunnel out of them. The access through these supercells will produce income for opex/capex...
