I've stopped trading Teuton Resources

Hey folks, I have stopped trading Teuton. I have moved it into a "buy and hold" portfolio.  I move them there if I expect to sit on them for three years or longer.  No longer need to pay much attention to the daily machinations.

It's now become one of my "retirement stocks" ha, ha!  Although, when I see dips like this, maybe I will add a new trading position.  Can't resist.

rockport1 - I agree that Teuton is for holding while more ounces are added each season until a deal is done.  I feel like we've pretty much won this one - just need to sit back and see how the final numbers work out. However, I'm also perfectly happy to let the naysayers do some heavy lifting to crush the stock price, then buying more at the lows today.  Some folks on the Tudor ...more

Stockzorg, I do agree that TUO is still worth trading. My core holding is now in my longer term portfoliio, and will sit there for years or until buyout. I suppose, if it ever does get way over-valued, I could consider selling some or all. However, that scenario is unlikely unless we some gold mania. As I have a pretty comfortable "feel" for how this stock trades and should be valued, I ...more

Rocky, I have held positions for decades in some cases.  However no stock is so sacred it can’t be sold if it no longer has a value proposition.   TUO is definitely a hold for me too, provided gold doesn’t lose support.  To me unlikely given the inflation risks of international monetary easing, but if I lost confidence in a gold upside, I’d sell.  The other likeliest reason to ...more

No arguments from me with your take, CG. My point being, I now view this stock more as a value holding vs a speculative position.  I expect they will continue to add value with each passing season. This is in contrast to typical juniors whose fortunes rise and fall with each turn of the drill.  As with any asset, it is always subject to change as the conditions change, but it's now ...more

Im hoping for robust copper numbers somewhere.  Copper has a promising speculative upside and would strengthen the stability of PEA numbers? Interesting year ahead. cg

If the Perfect Storm Zone is more like Iron Cap as KK thinks, there will be plenty of copper found.  Iron Cap shows 983 million lbs. Cu Probable; 2.051 billion lbs. Indicated; 12.556 billion lbs. Inferred.  That should be enough to move the needle. The first three holes at PSZ did not go very deep.  The Iron Cap high grade ore was found in the deeper holes.  Even so, PSZ ...more

Exactly right Doug. Just looking at the SEA maps and grades, then the Red Line and sulphurets fault, that great big discontinuity in the IP survey under the PSZ target looks like a likely great whacking porphyry intrusion which would be prime hunting country for copper grades.  A few deep holes will tell. cg
