My father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease when I was young. Witnessing his struggle with the illness was heart-wrenching. The limited treatment options available at the time were frustrating, not only for him but for our entire family. We saw firsthand the physical and emotional toll the disease took on him, as well as the broader socioeconomic impact on his life. This personal experience ignited a spark in me – a desire to bring new diagnostic and treatment technologies to the market, to help others avoid the same struggles my father faced.
