A point of comparison

Check out the links below on First Wind Holdings. The firm is the closest thing I can find to WND and is further down the road in MW development. Based on this I would guess that WND should be valued somewhere between $1 and $1.5m per MW. I know that Jeff believes it should be significantly higher but I don't know the basis for this other than the quality of the wind in Socal (which may be sufficient for some premium on the relevant projects). It merged them again. Just note where the new http begins and cut and paste. It may be my IPad.

Based on your estimated valuation and the NR dated January 10th (165MW net), the value of WND is between $165M to  $247M divided by 35M shares (assuming share buyback) would price the shares between $4.7/sh to $7/sh.If that's true....we are sitting good....  Now, we just have to get the investment world to see that.

If the share buyback price is announced at anything less than $2.00 I would guess that the company will have a hard time finding 20 millions shares to buy, and any price estimates based on post buyback float size should probably be much higher than 35 million shares outstanding.Regardless, we'll know within the next two months (buyback detals must be announced before the end of this quarter ...more
