The day YFI became part of the Cablelabs family

When it dawned on particular parties that YFI was safely tucked under a figurative umbrella of validative recognition by Cablelabs, it was most likely a day that many reacted by: total denial, while others attempted to outperform YFI`s technology, and some few accepted the strategy of taking a closer look under WiFi` hood.

Maybe tomorrow we will discover just how close some parties chose to look, what they discovered, and maybe .........some indication of what they have chose to do about it.

One thing is certain; for those who are Cablelab members they have most likely had the opportunity to be very privy to everything YFI has to offer.  Furthermore, it is my wild guess that YFI may have enjoyed the benefits of being a lighthouse vendor with CL`s and if true, who knows what has been cooking behind closed doors that will expressly benefit those on the road to 10G.

Some might accuse me of fanciful thinking, but then again they are reading this post because of the fruits born from someones once fanciful thought. lol

Safely tucked under Cablelabs figurative umbrella?  What have they accomplished safely tucked under that umbrella while not being given financial validation and protection?  Deals not demos mean anything as they got demos (pool area instal) and no deals that returned anything to the shareholders ie. the owners of this company. Strange how you talk of things that happened 7 years ago and ...more

Maybe we should be asking you why you place such a low significance to all of your own statements and questions TDMAN29.  Afterall, based on your own testimony you still remain a shareholder.  Personally, from a business perspective I think you are dumber than a bag of hammers.  Added to that you have the business instincts of a coconut.  Andrew forgot more about this game than ...more

Thanks Sherlock.  Means the world coming from someone obviously successful as you. Looks like Andrew forgot how to make a profit in this game?  Is Andrew aware that you feel this strongly for him and how vigorously you defend his actions?  Strange how well you claim to know this man even though you claim to have never met or spoken to him. I of course have on multiple occasions so I ...more

Ive never seen so many posts that dont see the route of the issue. If i am a cable company with a working product, im gonna have to be convinced that adding a chip wont take multiple board revisions and wont cause issues down the road. Engineers are at one end of the world and the rest of the working class just see the finished product. To engineer a new product that is complex from start to ...more

"So lets give edgewater credit that they have a viable solution and stop with the garbage on the forum."   This is gold Gerry, gold!
