Enough Said

Edgewater generates revenue from licensing its intellectual property (“IP”) to third parties, manufacturing silicon computer processors or full circuit boards to be incorporated into other data communication devices, and selling its own data communication devices, under the brand name AERA™ (www.aera.io).

Edgewater sales efforts have focused on major Tier 1 service providers, such as Liberty Global, industry innovators such as the 63-member CableLabs, which includes members Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) with 32.1 million broadband subscribers and Charter (Nasdaq: CHTR) with 30.4 million broadband subscribers), telecom communication companies (e.g AT&T (NYSE: T), British Telecom (LSE: BT.A), Telefonica (BME: TEF), and Verizon (NYSE: VZ)) and device manufacturers (e.g. ArubaCisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) CommScope (Nasdaq: COMM), and Netgear (Nasdaq: NTGR)).

An opportunity, such as Liberty Global, could represent 15 million units at $30-$50 per chipset over a three to five year implementation period.

"An opportunity, such as Liberty Global, could represent 15 million units at $30-$50 per chipset over a three to five year implementation period." I assume "could" is the operative word there?

How many times did you refresh that Sam?  Simple cut and paste.

I don't know what Chris Thompson (whoever he is) is on... but a 450M$ revenue is certainly not on the table for YFI. IF and only IF this was a possibility the company would have been aquired ages ago. There's no way on a 200M shares structure to see these numbers. I have a feeling Liberty Global will take YFI Private at pennys ... And from there grow the technology and license it. From ...more

this does sound like the only plausable way edgewater ever does "succeed" Andrew would get a nice job of doing f all so thats all he cares about. its been apparently they havent cared about investors really ever.
Comment by TDMAN29 on Apr 08, 2023 12:20am
Why would Andrew do that to loyal shareholders who have paid for the food he puts in his mouth for the last decade?  Believed every word he said and never questioned regardless of missed timelines of lack of any shareholder return? The tiptoe trio would be devastated if this was true. Taking it private might help all those employees keep their jobs at Edgewater so they can keep contributing ...more

Not really... at the end of the day it is business. Possibilities are unlimited. I do not see 450m$ in sales with current share structure. It is not something anyone should expect. I think the possibility of taking this company private at somewhere around 0.5 to 1$ soon might be an option before announicing revenue. The other option is a super early aquisition at low price. Too many giants in the ...more

Question is "Can they ride the wave or are they destined to crash and drown again?"
Comment by Pandora on Apr 08, 2023 1:36pm
You only get so many opportunities and if you can't pull your weight you just get swept aside. Will they or won't they? If they cannot put it together this time they are likely a goner -- fading off into the sunset! Do it now or get out of the way.

Pandora. Who exactly is "they", and when did "they" expire by drowning?  It sounds like you are referring to the Resurrection.  Are you telling us that Jesus drowned?

Nice to see you are always lurking, ready to pounce Sam. I notice you never really have anything of context to add but you always are ready to criticize anyone that posts. Your innuendo and remarks are always trying to cut somebody and have little to do with subjective analysis.   in·nu·en·do noun noun: innuendo; plural noun ...more

I agree with your statements that: ....at the end of the day it is business; and possibilities are unlimited. As for a super early aquisition at a low price, before I would include that as a distinct possibility, I would have to be convinced of the feasibility of that occurring. My first thought would be that before any such private acquisition to be finalized, management would first lay all their ...more

Good one -- that's a much better tone! The Masters is suspended and over for the day. Weather in Georgia is much like it is in Lower Mainland B.C. - cold and wet. Our one Canadian rep., Hughes, finished his front nine on a sour note, bogeyed his 8th and 9th holes -- but at least he is in for the weekend - wet as it is. 27 holes for him tomorrow. I notice the Masters admin puts a cloak over ...more

Trust me I will be super super happy if we get a really positive outcome no matter how long it takes. The first time i bought shares was almost 7 years ago. Kept lowering cost. I wish nothing but positive outcome. Having said that this timeframe is in line with the risk tolerance I have. If it goes to zero well it is what it is and things won't change much. But if it goes to $X it is life ...more

Hey PBOUN88 -- almost 7 years ago looks on the graph that you first got in around the 25 - 30 cent range. And then averaged down. I got in about 12 years ago (November 2011) at 28 cents and then averaged down to a 4.5 cent ACB. We have something in common but I have had the pleasure (or not) of watching all the carry-on for 5 more years. All kinds of "potential" has been addressed over ...more
