News is looking good

Look is to me like Gerald is defining a major resource here.

in my opinion the company has to clarify if a mining operation would even be permitted. perhaps a study paper of some sort that deals with the past issues that left taxpayers holding the bag. if there already is a study paper dealing this please post a link.

I am sure you will get a few responses to your post... while separated bit 6 or 7 km the rock so to speak is different than Giant. as well the processing at the old con is very different from giant and YGT has explained this in past interviews and based on science and fact.  Con since shut down,  is about 98 % remeadiated by Newmont and without issue - end stop .... I know this cause ...more

Red do you see these as disappointing results or is this more in line with testing the outer limits of the area? I'm disappointed in the grade at these holes but I dont know what was expected based on these zones. They don't match up to what Gerald indicated he saw in recent interviews. Again, Gerald and David need to release a discussion tomorrow about these results.

Read the news carefully....all holes so far are in the shear ...they .."have extended gold mineralization on both the southern and northern limits of the Yellorex Zone for over two kilometers. Drilling results are very positive"  only part of holes are released at this time ....GP is mapping this out so to speak  and more will be coming. Literally right off my back deck ...more

I can imagine we'd get their comments soon on this. Maybe even today hopefully.

Well no change in the share price so I guess people are still in a wait and see mode. We need some high grade!
Comment by red on Dec 09, 2021 10:24am
Ofcourse more buying would be nice but I think those invested and following closely already, are smart enough to see the potential and probably agree that what's out is good..... and clearly with GP the best is yet to come.  remember the deal GP made with Newmont and he clearly wants to bring them in and it's possible this yellorex zone could be the kicker to that. YGT is the best ...more

When are we expecting assays? End of 2022?
Comment by Tuckerthefox on Dec 09, 2021 2:23pm
Last I heard 7weeks after drilling. That was for FT.TO. Who are also in NWT. Tuck

Gerald continues to buy in small chunks. It will be interesting to see if he continues to buy after the news.
Comment by red on Dec 10, 2021 8:02am
GP is well positioned in this with his own money at our prices there will be nothing wrong if he decides to take some profit when the time is right but my guess is he knows where YGT would go when he bought in, where is going now and will see this thru.....Newmont is sitting at the table they have an incredible and detailed deal ( read it closely)  / understanding/ agreement. Gerald has ...more

My problem is that Gerald said these would be tremendous holes. He alluded to high grade 10 g/t over 5+ meters. Our results were pretty far off from that.
Comment by red on Dec 10, 2021 8:30pm
Ok and where did he say that? Interview? I must have missed it? Let us know please
Comment by Systemtogo on Dec 10, 2021 8:57pm
In basically all the new interviews. In the Adelaide Capital one from 2 weeks ago he boasted about how they saw "tremendous holes" based on factors that experienced geologists can tell and that he expects 2 million ounces over 10 g/t in the end.
Comment by red on Dec 10, 2021 9:53pm
I will go back and listen in on that but at this time we are not at the end .....other than in defining the northern end and southern end of yellorex and so we should expect lessor grades or it wouldn't be the end ? Just saying ....from all this we still have two Kms in between and Gerald's X-ray vision is no better than ours albeit he has the experience to assum better possibilities   ...more

Hmm not much high grade so far except for the first hole results. I thought based on everything Gerald indicated recently that the results would be a little better but im not a geologist. Would love to hear their take on these batch of holes. Anyone else want to offer their take on this news?
