napkin numbers

17500k plus 650k makes 2.4 million ounces.
That's 12 years of mining @ 200k a year.
Initial investment to start mining 300-400 million.
Anual renvenue @ $1500 gold  : $300 million.
Proffit margin between 40% - 60% depending on grade.
All this without finding any new discoveries.
We all know GP is just getting started on a huge land package.
In 40 years investing I never found a company valued at 30 million today
with those napkin numbers. Sleeping giant is the best way to discribe Gold Terra.
We still have to find the money to make it all happen. That is the only negative if you want to find one.

I am a supporter but just wanted to add a comment for clarity. On a video about 2 months ago Gerald was asked about why he did not include the 650k oz from before. He said he didn't want to rely on it but ...... I think he also said 100k of it was under a street in town. With the mine being so close to town I think some of the 650k is not possible to mine unless Red will move ha-ha.  ...more

Good one Crash. Red will let us know if the drywall is cracking. The 650k was drilled it was just too long ago. Does not meet the current regulations. It does bring up a good point. How much of the mine is underneath the City? Does that stop us in the future from getting that 650k out or expand the mine? Anyone?

Would not surprise me that GEO ( if still following) would know the answer to that  in a bit of detail but I suspect yes they are well under some city streets and local lakes close to the mine .....on a quiet night when the air blower system at con was not humming one could hear and in odd occasion, I swear, feel the rattle of them working deep underground...so again this would not surprise ...more

There are indeed old stopes under the city streets, but these are at great depths. There are shallower stopes south of the city but near homes around Rat Lake. In different circumstances, these would be mined by open pits. It was always the case that the ug blasts were felt in town. The alarms at the banks on main street had to be adjusted to accommodate these twice daily events.

So is the answer that we can get the 650k out because it is deep enough to pose no risk to the town? It will probably need a study to prove it in today's environment. I like to get a discussion going on my napkin numbers compared to other guys napkins. One of my questions is do we realy need  a 20 year live gold reserve to get started on building the mine? Especially because we will be so ...more

The ounces under the city are not an issue. The Cambell Shear Zone is >500m deep here. The ounces south of the city outcrop under Rat Lake and points south where there us limited municipal development. Some old stopes have broken through to surface in a few places along side of roads back in the 1980's, none of the shallow resources have been drilled in over 50 years.

There was a cut off at the end of July to make it into the report. Was there still drilling giong on in August Red? I am looking forward to another intervieuw with GP. He said to go back on the offence this fall to get the story out. ...more

I looked back in the PR from july. The summer drill program started Aug 3 on the Con. They did not say how many holes or how deep. So we do have results comming to look forward to.

In March 2022 we had money for 30,000 feet of drilling. So far we got 23,000 feet reported.
