let's say 40'000 oz sold @ 1850 USD with AISC 1200 would mean 26M USD before interest and taxes (CAD @ 1.30 = 34M CAD) More important as per last interview : 50m in cash at end December.  Others : clearly better pref since mid-November... seems indicating that problems are mostly fixed

A few observations/comments on Q4 results: In the text of the NR the company announced production of 42,174 ounces, but in the table showing 2020 quarterly production, Gold Produced = 42,436.  Perhaps 42,436 produced and 42,174 sold?  At the end of Q3 there were ~ 3,300 oz of unsold gold in inventory, so I would expect gold sold in Q4 to be 42,000 oz or more. At an average Q4 gold ...more

Great analysis. Which other miner do you think Victoria best compares to at current valuations?

Do you have zero understanding that  for a producing miner it is market cap that matters not shares outstanding ?  Continually "WOW" to comments on this board. You should DM with Phoneix because he has compared VG to about 2 dozen companies over the past 10 years.  All meaningless to help determine VG share value of course.

In the meantime, VGCX is performing quite well since the new financing news and last Ceo webinar. BTW what do you think of the puts bought in December strike price 1700 USD ? A little low imo and I suspect this could be linked to the new financing ? BtW, would like to estimate the the cash flow sale production+hedge  fx POG as we have now : - 5000 put bought, strike 1700 USD maturing ...more

What will light a fire under the stock price is new Analyst coverage/reports on 2021 production and financials. C'mon Management/Directors, make a list of world gold financial advisors, send those emails, work those phones, get the job done before a major bids and you lose the fees.

Thanks for that detailed calculation. So helpful. One comment: in the labour costs part of your equation the extra costs of Covid are unknown. In the latest interview McConnell made a point of mentioning it, so guessing it must be having some level of impact on AISC. This should be eliminated or reduced from AISC sometime this summer hopefully.

MVargus Nice post, I was wonding about Q1 2021 production capability as well and did a little math for fun. These are the numbers as found in the financials for 2019 and 2020; Victoria has stacked 9885k tonnes of ore to date at an average grade of 0.836gpt for 8260k grams or 265569 ounces of gold. Victoria’s recovery (as written in the 43-101) is 0.76, leaving 201833 recoverable ounces. To ...more

OMG,  one would hope so.  NOTHING like setting the bar extremely low to exceed 'guidance' and then go rah rah rah.   Here' to running a 14 minute mile and being excited about it. Can VG do better.  Geez, they better and probably will but how far will it be permanently perform below FS numbers of supposedly sub $800 AISC. Much better to have bought at these ...more
