Mine good, management bad.......Desjardins Securities analyst John Sclodnick sees shares of Victoria Gold Corp. ( VGCX-T +3.25%increase   ) are “at an inflection point following recent underperformance due to operational challenges.”   “However, with the block model reconciling well and recoveries meeting expectations, we are confident that management can improve ...more

Management bad, is not what the article says or suggests. Sorry Kegman, i don't like disagreeing with you but I'm invested and willing to call it just like you. Good post Kegman, thank you, I enjoy the knowledge given out on this Board too. I am trying to second guess why VG would make an offer for Atac's assets. VG are not short of holdings, Raven, Banyan,Lohonton and Eagle itself, all with good gold potential. So chasing an additional resource seem to be odd..Having said that, if they could get Atac at a good price it can only be a plus in my view ...more

ATAC has no interest in having VG management operating and working their claims even if the offer was 'better' then Hecla's.  And the VG offer even removing poor VG management issue was sadly lacking compared to Hecla's very interesting, thorough and beneficial offer.

Exactly!!!!  ( to your points below)   The gold is there and the profitable way to extract it.  But is has been bungled badly.  Funny your comment that there is potentially a Co. mole who whacks on posters not in line.  As to your point about a potential lowball takeover....TOTALLY possible.  And yes many insiturions might participate to get a 50% or more return ...more
