Theres so many moving parts, and alarmists who are looking to profit off this.  What they don't tell you is the cyanide solution used sounds like it's deadly toxic "cyanide" (poison omg!) that will kill you instantly, when in fact it is a very weak solution being used. It has a very short half-life. Cyanide is also naturally present in the environment .And cyanide oxidizes and breaks down very quickly, so it's not an end of the world scenario as some would lead you to believe.

On the pump side, has anyone considered they hit THE Mother Lode and that's why the pad collapsed?  Because they weight of the ore was just too damn heavy with gold?  LOL

Anyways, I bought a few shares as a lottery ticket, personally I think it's blown out of proportion and will recover fairly quickly in the coming weeks.  Just my two cents :D

Yes you are right. The pad collapsed because they got greedy with all gold they were going to produce, they overloaded it.  I've studied landslides before and was quite impressed to learn that there are only a couple of genuine experts  in soil dynamics ON THE PLANET.  It's a very complex field.....composition of the soil....clay, sand, rock, moisture, etc. And what forces ...more
