True Another point I was trying to make is there where a lot of co's,  operators and foreign ownership after the first closure that it defies immagination, all raking in the cash. It produced, polluted, opened, polluted, re-opened, polluted...  As long it was producing revenue it ran and polluted till it didn't anymore. The Eagle mine could be the same saga. For those intertested in the largest Yukon open pit ever and at one point in time the biggest polluter and how it kept n running.  Money talks. And what The Yukon went through.
