The Mangazeya group of companies, headed by Sergey Yanchukov, presented the results of gold mining in Transbaikalia for the third quarter of 2019. According to information, the company is ahead of projected average Russian indicators. Only in the third quarter of 2019, Mangazeya Mining produced more gold than in three quarters of 2018, ahead of the planned average Russian indicator. According to Sergey Yanchukov, this growth was achieved by increasing the gold content in the ore mined at the Kochkovsky and Savkinsky deposits of the Transbaikal Territory.
“The third quarter is the most active period of gold mining, and its results form the overall picture of the year. Due to the higher gold content in the ore and the growth of ore stacking at the Kochkovsky deposit, we were able to increase metal production by general indicators for all gold mining facilities. We see prospects in the further development of deposits and plan to maintain the growth rate, ”said the head of the Mangazeya Sergey Yanchukov.
Sergey Yanchukov’s business specializes in mining in Transbaikalia and, according to him, the company plans to increase its performance. Now the assets of Mangazeya include the Savkinskoye and Kochkovskoye deposits, and by 2020 it is planned to carry out activities in Nasedkino. It is supposed to mine up to 4 tons of gold per year.
Now Mangazeya is deeply integrated into the life of Transbaikalia. Last year, the company of Sergey Yanchukov became a resident of the territory of accelerated development (TOR - an economic zone with preferential tax conditions for attracting investment in the region - approx. Ed) in the Far East. This became a kind of engine for investing and starting the development of the Nasedkino field, as well as launching an agricultural business in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
The ore mining technology at Nasedkino will be different, as will equipment, Sergey Yanchukov notes. If earlier the process depended heavily on weather events, was simple, but took a lot of time, then in the new field the processing will be fully automated and technological. In addition, thanks to the constructed factory, the ore will be processed year-round.
“The technology is different and, of course, the equipment is different. At Nasedkino, we built a factory where ore is fed immediately after large crushing and goes through the whole chain: crushing, grinding, gravity, cyanide. This is a year-round process that is not tied to the weather, it is more technological, it is easier to automate, ”explained Sergey Yanchukov.
The benefits of the TOP contribute to the socio-economic development of the region. At the Yanchukov enterprises, local residents work for whom investments in Transbaikalia caused a large number of jobs.
