Why should you?

one thing I always look for when looking to buy a beaten up stock, especially a small cap, is insiders diving in  or at least buying some shares with their own loot in the OPEN market. you saw a ton of it in the energy sector when it was beaten up and still some even to this day. not so with xbc so why should you?

I see some insiders starting to buy in grn  cmc and others.  I just don't understand why you would add to xbc when you don't see any at all down at these prices, there has to be some reason you don't know about, yet, for them not to buy. I was going to start buying some in the 1.60's as it looks like some support there probably, lol. but I'm not touching it unless I see insiders adding. I know kurt holds a decent amount  and bought some a few q's ago, but only because he said he would, lol. 

the other thing I cannot comprehend on here is how people can think xbc has a great mgmt team, everything I've seen so far leads me to the opposite until they prove otherwise, which they have not yet, and saying what they will do IS NOT DOING IT!!!

I mean there was a small buy at 3.05 and rights to buy around 2.60 to several board members. An insider buy is meaningless to me the only thing that is going to stop this death spiral is a follow-up order from chevron even bigger than the first and proof from q4 that they are either very close to profitability or already profitable. II just checked and rechecked sedi and it shows no insider buying for xbc in the insider buying section under all equitys and all drivatives etc  0  nada zilch, you post it and I'll believe you , it is also not on canadian insider,  those were grant of rights at $2 on jan 24 AND NOT INSIDER BUYS, mgmt has not put out 1 friggin buy, not 1 measley share, get your facts right

Exergy, my appologies for calling you a liar, you are simply misinformed as to the difference between the granting of rights and insider buying.  granting of rights costs mgmt 0 nada zilch, it just gives them the right to buy shares at $2 by some future date. if the price is lowere they don't have to exercise the rights, it's simply a chcken sh  it way of guaranteeing they don

During Q3 they made 2 service center acquisitions and secured components for 30 BGX units.  They did not annouce those in news releases though many would believe it was newsworthy. We were made aware of those happenings during the Q3 call. Orders for BGX units will be added to the backlog unless they are large MSA type. No need to be desperate to announce non material news.  GRN

I think I agree that Xebec needs a new CEO. Kurt has built this company, but I think at this point, Xebec needs a real, professional CEO. I'd love to hear what people think about this idea.

I suggest you stop looking at the share price and instead go on the Xebec web site and read all the financials news and acquisitions they made in the last year or two.....Than come back and explain why you want to change the CEO

tony  maybe you should take a longer look at all the misteps along the way, they have not proven they can execute and it sure looks to me like they have more on their plate than they can handle, yes they have done a lot but maybe they've done too much at once, this is one reason I like grn much better (plus better mgmt imho) , I have a small position in grn and at least I can see exactly

those aquisitions are probably good but really haven't proven out yet, zbc is a very small co. and spread all over the planet now, expenses will be quite high and growing along with supply chain issues,  past experience is really all we have and we do know that they lost money on projects they thought or told the market they were making money on. there will be a ton of competition in this
