Contracts

greenlane announces an 8 million dollar contract and the market adds 18 million to it's market cap meanwhile over at xebec since announcing a 113 million dollar contract the market has sliced off 186 million of it's market cap makes perfect sense to me.

AI and robots. Tough to shake them. There is no sense to the s/p. So you know it's a great time to buy. Under a dollar? I bought a bunch today.

You might have bought a bunch of flowers, a bunch of carrot, or a bunch of Bull, but I doublt you bought a bunch of the XBC stock.  That's the same line you tried to feed to the BRAXIA folks.  It was untrue then and it is untrue now.  By the way if AI and Robot's are so powerful, what makes you think that you and your tinfoil cap can "beat" them?

Same tiresome troll. Different board.

It actually does makes sense! Greenlane has no debt, it's almost profitable, and it did not screw up investor's confidence.
Comment by tamaracktop on May 31, 2022 8:23am
True, but Greenlane has $10 million more in accounts payable than they do in receivables, whereas Xebec has $16 million more in receivables than payables. Xebec also has $54 million in unused credit facilities that Greenlane doesn't. No question that Xebec is being heavily punished by the market for past indiscretions by management. The question becomes "is the punishment too heavy ...more

Yes, but it won't matter until it matters again. Not only investors lost confidence in Xebec but they also lost it in the current general bear market which certainly doesn't help. Having more debt available or more receivables doesn't help either. Just look at how fast they are burning cash without margins improving or when revenues were clawed back due to the cancellation of the sale ...more

I still believe it can succeed. I'm still invested like I was 16 months ago. But I'm done with the deception and the false hopes. Could be the best time to buy and might be the worse time to sell but I'm still not adding nor I'm selling. I'm waiting until I see consistent signs of improvement.

I really don't see how losing almost 200 million after announcing a 113 million dollar contract makes sense you are right that they screwed up investors confidence but greenlane is also not profitable and has way less to manage. Xebec will get there eventually.
Comment by ZouZS3 on May 31, 2022 9:19am
Very simple, it's called behavioral biases. And yes that's what makes it less risky & more attractive right now. Obviously less risk = less return.
Comment by tony08 on May 31, 2022 10:06am
What excites me is knowing that legacy issues will no longer be a drag soon for Xebec and at the same time, $143M contracts will very soon be counted in the quarterly results....   At the same time, I am certain that the CEO and his team have fully understood the lesson that the market gave them in the last quarter and that they will do everything to improve margins.   At the ...more

Why would management have learned a lesson? they hold very little shares, they don't have skin in the game they get they're paycheck regardless
Comment by Gann999 on May 31, 2022 2:11pm
Isn't the mere fact of working there having skin in the game? If you want to continue having gainful employment usually the objective is to not run the company into the ground.
