Pretty skinny offerings

Personally I'm hoping for an uptick in volume late in the day.

The stock is sitting at $0.75 on only 275,000 shares and it's after 2 o'clock.

If the line of least resistance I referred to in an earlier post has in fact turned higher, any resumption
of decent volume will almost certainly be on the buy side

The lows in the last 5 days, including today, have been .57, .68, .71, .72, and .73.

At some point, buyers at lower prices will tire of waiting for the stock to come to them and will throw in the towel and raise their bids.

At some point, sellers will get tired waiting for their Asking price and CFO their orders to lower prices. Peace long Xebec

Considering the context of Xebec, this is a stupid comment.

I only see that thing's comment when it's quoted. It eludes me why you bother to read them. Isn't it odd that it habitually mocks my bullish attitude but regularly signs off "long Xebec".

Volume on the TSX is less than half of total volume in Canada again. 1,219,300  total but only 524,000 on the TSX. Sometimes I think this is done to mask the buying interest. T:XBC - XEBEC ADSORPTION INC - https://www.xebecinc.com 18:17:36 EDT Sym-X Bid - Ask Last Chg %Ch Vol $Vol #Tr  ...more

Actually i think we are just getting ripped off on the Canadian Exchanges. The Nasdaq sells to 3 or 4 decimal points and that price is passed on to the buyer and seller. I think what is happening is there are sellers and buyers  inbetween the posted bid and ask but we do not get that fractional price as the broker rounds it back up to the posted bid or ask.I was buying ARG this morning paying ...more

My opinion is that it's done so both large sell and buy orders don't affect the price. That's the intent behind them. It seems to me that it makes the market less transparent - like if I put in a buy for 5000 , willi I actually get what i want. Investopedia Iceberg orders are large orders that are split up into lots or small sized limit orders. They are split up into visible and ...more
