Timing is everything in the markets, and the time is now for junior golds, argues Andrew Mickey.

High-flying miner Teck Resources (NYSE: TCK, Stock Forum) could face some technical resistance going forward, according to Andrea Kramer.

And Dan Ferris advises traders to do as Jim Rogers and Warren Buffett do: stop trading.

Top Bullboards post: After Mountain Lake Resources (TSX: V.MOA, Stock Forum) reported intersections of gold mineralization among the results from its 33-hole drill program at its Valentine lake gold project, chux02 cautioned other shareholders to watch for follow up results. “It's not too hard to....predict how this stock is going to act.....until that final news release comes out in LESS than 2 weeks. It will go up today (and rightly so) and maybe it'll either hold the gain or it will slightly rise tomorrow and then come Monday as interest....wanes, the share price will retreat somewhat. I'm NOT trying to rain on any parades but as a MOA share holder for....quite awhile, the SP has acted like this in the past. Now they could surprise us and it won't take that 2 weeks till the remaining assays are released but if you look at the recent past through their NR's, you'll see how I arrive at these conclusions.”

Top Bullboard:ALDA Pharmaceuticals (TSX: V.APH, Stock Forum) was the most posted –to Bullboard on Stockhouse Thursday.

Top blog: In the ContraMan Fund blog, Contra_Man suggested that the morning euphoria over retail would end before the quarter was out.

Toronto & New York (The Canadian Press) - The Toronto stock market closed little changed as rising energy and industrial stocks helped the TSX recover from sharp, early losses blamed on another round of debt troubles for Greece.

The main S&P/TSX composite index recovered from a 135-point deficit to close 2.63 points higher at 12,113.53.

Greek borrowing costs spiked to a record high, decreasing confidence among trading markets that the country can pay its debt. Such problems in Greece and other European countries could upend a global economic recovery and undermine the euro.

The Dow Jones industrial average gained 29.55 points to 10,927.07. The Nasdaq composite index gained 5.65 points to 2,436.81 while the S&P 500 index rose 3.99 points to 1,186.44.
