Gatekeeper Systems (TSX-V:GSI, StockForum), provider of high resolution video security and safety systems for mobile applications, announced the first sale of their proprietary video system created for the law enforcement market entitled, XFORCE.
According to the company's news release, “Gatekeeper's XFORCE (Extreme Forward Looking Reconnaissance System) provides law enforcement agencies with forward-looking, high-resolution video capable of detecting license plates from long range and under difficult lighting conditions.”
It went on to add, “XFORCE software allows officers to control the system from their laptop, reducing clutter in the vehicle. Gatekeeper's unique wireless platform allows law enforcement agencies to download video automatically when vehicles return to the base.”
Doug Dyment, Gatekeeper Systems president and CEO commented, “We are excited to receive this initial order. We are also in the process of launching a high definition product line for the law enforcement market under the XFORCE brand.”
Founded in 1997, Gatekeeper Systems was also in the news recently when it announced changes to management.
Shares were up 3.57% on the news to $0.29 per share.
Presently there are 40,334,556 shares outstanding with a market cap of $11.7 million.
