iCo Therapeutics (
TSX: V.ICO,
Stock Forum) rose 13.6% to $0.46 after the pharmaceutical firm said Tuesday it has secured approval from The Depository Trust Company for its U.S. trading symbol ICOTF. The company said it now has DTC eligibility, allowing it to transfer shares between brokerage accounts electronically through DTC, the world’s largest securities depository.
Quattro Exploration and Production Ltd. (
TSX: V.QXP,
Stock Forum) jumped 8.2% to 26.5 cents after the company released its 2014 guidance, saying it is heading towards a projected average production rate of 1,250 barrels of energy per day during the first quarter of 2014. The Calgary firm is engaged in exploration and oil and gas production in Canada and select international markets.
Ecuador Gold and Copper Corp. (
TSX: V.EGX,
Stock Forum) was up 5.9% to 9 cents. The Toronto-based company said its Condor Gold Project in Ecuador is thought to contain 6.4 million ounces of gold. The estimate follows a $25 million exploration campaign carried out between 2010 and 2012, the company said.
