Commerce Resources Corp. (TSX: V.CCE, Stock Forum) shares sank 18% to 20.5 cents Thusday after the company said it is proceeding with hydrometallurgical processing for the Ashram rare earth deposit in Quebec.

Testwork will allow for a deeper evaluation of other potential end-product options with ready markets, Commerce said in a press release.
