GeneNews (TSX: GEN, Forum) shot up in the markets today when the company announced that it had acquired full control of Innovative Diagnostic Laboratory by entering into a unit purchase agreement with Cobalt Healthcare Consultants for its 50% ownership in Innovative.
According to the
news release, GeneNews will assume any and all of Cobalt’s liability regarding Cobalt’s US$1.0 Secured Demand Promissory Note payable to form IDL partner, HDL USA Holdings. No other consideration will be paid.
Shares were up 216.67% on high volume trading to $0.095 per share.
Metals Creek Resources (TSX: V.MEK, Forum) dipped on the boards today after the company released additional drill results from its on-going program at the Ogden property in the Timmins Gold Camp.
According to the
news release, highlights included the possible extension of the Thomas Ogden mineralization 480 metres to the west, where the step out hole OG16-040 intersected 5.06 g/tonne gold over 24.4 metres.
Shares fell 25.00% to $0.12 per share.
