Stockhouse Canadian Small and Micro-cap Stock Report for Wednesday, April 21, 2010

TORONTO (SHfn) – Arian Silver (TSX: V.AGQ, Stock Forum) shares surged 32% to 18.5 cents on Wednesday after the micro cap explorer reported drill results from its 100% owned San Jose Property in Mexico, which included 2.35 metres of 834 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 0.36% lead, and 0.67% zinc.

As well, shares of Points International (TSX: T.PTS, Stock Forum) gained 18% to 55 cents as the reward program management firm said it is raising its 2010 revenue guidance to between US$85 million and US$95 million. The company also reiterated its EBITDA margin guidance range of 3% to 5% and net income profitability for the year.

GoldQuest Mining (TSX: V.GQC, Stock Forum), meanwhile, announced that an administrative court in Leon, Spain, has dismissed the appeal of a losing bidder in the tender process under which the investigation permit for the Toral property was ultimately awarded to a subsidiary of GoldQuest. The company owns a 100% interest in the Toral project located in northwest Spain. GoldQuest stock popped 15% to 15.5 cents.

And, Petromin Resources (TSX: V.PTR, Stock Forum) Wednesday reported that the process leading to injection of carbon dioxide into the target coal seams at the site of the Deep Un-mineable Coal CO(2) Sequestration and Enhanced Coalbed Methane Production Project in Shanxi, the People's Republic of China is scheduled to start this week. Its shares powered 33% higher to 14 cents.
