TORONTO (SHfn) – Radisson Mining Resources (TSX: V.RDS, Stock Forum) shares climbed 26% to 12 cents on Friday after the micro cap explorer said its O'Brien-Kewagama gold project in Quebec has the potential for high tonnage, lower grade deposits of the porphyry types, similar in nature to the Cadillac Break porphyries of the Osisko and Goldex types.

As well, shares of PolyMet Mining (TSX: T.POM, Stock Forum) rose 16% to $1.60 as the junior miner announced that the state and federal government agencies responsible for the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) reviewing PolyMet's copper-nickel-precious metals project will complete the EIS process by preparing a supplemental draft EIS that incorporates the proposed U.S. Forest Service (USFS) land exchange and expands government agency cooperation. The PolyMet project comprises the Erie Plant and the nearby NorthMet copper-nickel-precious metals ore-body in Minnesota.

Patient Home Monitoring (TSX: V.PHM, Stock Forum), meanwhile, reported an agreement to use Standing Stone, Inc.'s in-home coagulation monitoring software application, a module of CoagClinic, as its platform for monitoring patients on Coumadin and other anti-coagulants. Patient Home Monitoring stock popped 10% to 16 cents.

Shares of Newcastle Minerals (TSX: V.NCM, Stock Forum) moved up 14% to 12.5 cents after the junior explorer announced that it has, subject to regulatory acceptance, agreed to sell its interest in 25 load quartz mineral claims located in Yukon Territory. The purchaser, First Lithium Resources Inc., will issue 1.2 million shares to Newcastle as consideration.

And, ARISE Technologies (TSX: T.APV, Stock Forum) Friday said it has established a joint venture with Sky Solar (Canada) Ltd. to provide engineering, procurement and contracting services for solar projects under the Ontario FIT program. ARISE shares added as much as 18% at 26.5 cents.
