Stockhouse Canadian Small and Micro-cap Stock Report for Wednesday, December 15, 2010

TORONTO (SHfn) – Nordic Oil and Gas Ltd. (TSX: V.NOG, Stock Forum) was up 9% to 12.5 cents Wednesday on news that the junior has commenced drilling on a new exploration well in Endeavour, Saskatchewan. Drilling is expected to take four to five days to complete, the company said.

Eagle Hill Exploration Corp. (TSX: V.EAG, Stock Forum), meanwhile, jumped 7% to 23.5 cents on drill results from the Windfall Lake gold property near Val D’Or, Quebec. The junior said one of the first three holes coughed up a 9.90-metre intersection that averaged 18.82 grams gold per tonne. Trading in Eagle Hill was heavy with over 12.4 million shares changing hands in early trading.

Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd. (TSX: V.GWA, Stock Forum) rose 2% to 27 cents. The company said it has intersected significant high grade gold mineralization from surface down to a vertical depth of 200 metres while drilling at its Frankfield East gold deposit near Timmins, Ont. The aim is to demonstrate the continuity of mineralization contained within the significant strike extensions outlined for the deposit.

Mindoro Resources Ltd. (TSX: V.MIO, Stock Forum) was unchanged at 23 cents after chief executive officer Jon Dugdale said in an interview that the junior plans to establish a processing facility at its Agata nickel laterite project in northern Mindanao in the Philippines. Shares of Edmonton-based Mindoro were recently listed for trading on the Australian Stock Exchange.
