Stockhouse Canadian Small and Micro-cap Stock Report for Monday, February 7, 2011

TORONTO (SHfn) – Blue Sky Uranium (TSX: V.BSK, Stock Forum) shares climbed 27% to 37.5 cents on Monday after the micro cap explorer said it has received a Sighter Metallurgical Testwork Report from Independent Metallurgical Operations Ltd for the ANIT Uranium Project in Rio Negro Province, Argentina. This work demonstrates that most of the mineralized material from the ANIT can be significantly upgraded. Upgrading has the potential to significantly reduce processing and transportation costs, making the development of several satellite deposits utilizing one central processing facility economically attractive.

As well, shares of Serengeti Resources (TSX: V.SIR, Stock Forum) added 25% at 33 cents as the junior explorer reported that it has received results from a Geoscience BC commissioned study identifying a compelling, untested, multi-element Ah soil anomaly immediately adjacent to the Central copper-gold Zone at Kwanika in British Columbia. The newly identified 'Northeast Target' anomaly is defined by a strong copper-gold-silver-molybdenum response that is comparable in both magnitude and character to the response found over the known Central Zone deposit.

Intertainment Media (TSX: V.INT, Stock Forum), meanwhile, announced that its social media, real time, language translation platform, Ortsbo.com, has reached over 60 million minutes of user engagement. Intertainment stock popped 47% to 72 cents.

Shares of Eaglewood Energy (TSX: V.EWD, Stock Forum) powered 41% higher to 83 cents after the oil and gas explorer, as operator of PPL 259, advises that at 00:00 hours preparations are underway to suspend Ubuntu-1 in Papua New Guinea as a condensate rich gas discovery. Wire-line log and pressure measurement data suggests the well is capable of flowing gas at commercial flow rates. The well has penetrated at least 10 meters of net gas bearing Elevala Sandstone over the gross interval 3,305 to 3,330m MD. Eaglewood is the operator of the 259 License, holding a 40% participating interest in the Ubuntu Area and a 90% interest in the rest of the 259 License.

And, Grizzly Discoveries (TSX: V.GZD, Stock Forum) Monday reported drilling results for the Greenwood Project in British Columbia, including the discovery of widespread copper and low-grade gold associated with skarn-type alteration at Ket 28 and Copper Mountain. Grizzly shares surged 12% to 34 cents.
