Stockhouse Canadian Small and Micro-cap Stock Report for Monday, June 6, 2011

TORONTO (SHfn) – Aurion Resources (TSX: V.AU, Stock Forum) shares climbed 17% to 49 cents on Monday after the micro cap explorer reported that recent reconnaissance rock chip sampling at its 4300 hectare Logan Pass property in Nevada has returned assays of up to 19.3 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from a previously undocumented gold prospect located in the northeast of the property.

As well, shares of Sherbrook SBK Sport (TSX: V.SBK, Stock Forum) shot up 18% to 13 cents as the designer, manufacturer, and distributor of sporting goods and apparels said it has signed a letter of intent to acquire sports licensing company T.O.P. Marketing USA for $1.6 million, whereby $1 million will be paid cash and $600,000 will be paid with the issuance of shares of Sherbrook SBK Sport Corp.

Diamonds North Resources (TSX: V.DDN, Stock Forum), meanwhile, announced that it has acquired 100% interest in the Esker gold property in Nunavut. The Esker claim covers several kilometres of gold bearing stratigraphy. Drill intercepts of gold mineralization are as high as 8.2 g/t gold over 13 metres. Diamonds North stock popped 20% to 15 cents.

And, Novadx Ventures (TSX: V.NDX, Stock Forum) Monday reported that Ikerd Mining LLC has been granted KPDES Permit No KYG046633 by the Kentucky Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Water for Ikerd's Flatwoods Coal Mine located in Clay County, Kentucky. Accordingly, operations at the Flatwoods Mine have resumed. On May 26, 2011, Novadx said it had extended the closing of the Ikerd acquisition, and in the interim had assumed management control of the Ikerd operations until certain conditions of closing were satisfied. Novadx shares added 12% at 48 cents.
