CYGAM Energy up 5% in mid-morning: Canadian market movers

On Thursday, the top TSX mover was Kelt Exploration Ltd. (TSX: T.KEL, Stock Forum). The stock gained 1.99% and was trading at $5.64 on volume of 4.2 million.

The newly formed oil and gas explorer began operations on Feb. 26, 2013.

The company was formed as a result of a plan of arrangement between Celtic Exploration Ltd. and ExxonMobil Celtic ULC, a wholly owned subsidiary of ExxonMobil Canada Ltd.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX: T.BTO, Stock Forum) was the second most active stock on the TSX. It rose 2.07% and was trading at $2.96 on volume of 4.1 million shares.

The gold producer had no related news to explain the high volume in trading.

CYGAM Energy Inc. (TSX: V.CYG, Stock Forum) was the volume leader on the TSX Venture Exchange. It was up 4.67% and was trading at $0.22 on volume of 6.6 million.

On March 4, the emerging oil and gas company said that it had updated its Corporate Presentation, available at www.cygamenergy.com.

The second most active stock on the TSX Venture was Cortex Business Solutions Inc. (TSX: V.CBX, Stock Forum). It climbed 5% and was trading at $0.21 after 6.2 million shares changed hands.

On Feb. 21, the Enterprise eProcurement solutions company announced that it has been selected by Finning Canada, a subsidiary of Vancouver-based Finning International Ltd. (TSX: T.FTT, Stock Forum), to provide e-billing services to their customers.

The e-billing service will enable Finning's top customers in the Construction, Mining, Petroleum and Forestry industries across Canada to easily access their invoices online or connect directly with Finning.
