Sonde Resources (

Stock Forum) Thursday announced the appointment of Bill Dirks as its President and Chief Operating Officer effective June 30, 2013, this according to a company
news release.
The company added that Dirks will focus his initial efforts on Sonde's Western Canada operations and business portfolio.
Dirks joined Sonde in 2010 as its Chief Operating Officer and has previously served in senior leadership roles at Shell, Samson Canada and Tecton Energy.
