Pilot Gold (TSX:PLG, StockForum), a Vancouver-based exploration stage firm engaged in the exploration and development of mineral resource properties in the United States and Turkey, informed its JV partner, Nevada Sunrise Gold (TSX-V:NEV, StockForum), that the company had intersected high grade gold mineralization with the new drilling in step-out hole PK127C at Kinsley with gradings of 6.85 g/t gold over 41.7 metres.
Highlights from the 2014 program at PK127C also include 16.6 g/t gold over 8.5 metres and 20.5 g/t gold over 3.6 metres with 1.70 g/t gold over 13.7 metres being reported at PK126C.
The company feels that these recent results confirm that the newly discovered zone of high grade mineralization is open in all directions and as a result, Pilot reports that the scale of Kinsley's potential has increased dramatically.
Nevada Sunrise was in the news recently when the company granted stock options at the beginning of January.
Shares jumped 148.89% on the news to $0.47 per share.
Currently there are 15.9m outstanding shares with a market cap of $8.9 million.
