Two people are dead and two others are in hospital following a shooting Wednesday morning at the Western Forest Products Inc. (TSX: T.WEF, Stock Forum) sawmill in Naniamo, British Columbia, according to a CBC report.

RCMP have arrested a 47-year-old Nanaimo man who is suspected of carrying out the shooting, the CBC report said.

The president and CEO of the sawmill, Don Demens, confirmed the suspect is a former employee.
